SUMMARY OF THE JOB

The Marketing and Communication Manager Nordic Region supports and drives marketing, communication and product development in the four Nordic countries for our B2B segment. The objective is to translate market requirements into a well implemented product portfolio enhanced by an external communication strategy supporting the brand image and - awareness of Arval. Interpersonal skills are crucial since you will deal with different levels of stakeholders.

Sweden will be your place of employment and you allocate equal time to the four countries. That is why the job comes with frequent travelling.

Your line report is the Regional Manager Nordic region and you functionally report to the four General Managers of the countries.


KEY ACTIVITIES

Strategic marketing

  • design, implement and execute an annual corporate sales and marketing plan in cooperation with the local teams
  • monitor the markets and analysis of market trends
  • investigate local / regional partnerships with 3rd party providers to bring added value services
  • joint (with local teams) responsibility for marketing budgets (Nordic countries)
  • represent Arval Nordic countries within Arval
  • best practice sharing with other Arval Group and -entities.


Operational marketing

  • execute the annual marketing plan
  • initiate marketing activities to promote segmented offerings
  • monitor ROI of marketing / communication activities and adapt local strategies accordingly
  • maintain and develop marketing / sales collaterals.


Product management

  • initiate and manage local or regional product innovations / enhancements
  • monitor and improve products and services (new and existing) performance
  • train sales team on product knowledge with main focus on new initiatives.


Communication / events / sales support

  • define and execute the annual local communication plans in cooperation with local teams
  • promote the internal- and external communication (advertising campaigns, labour market communication, PR, etc.)
  • govern the processes and procedures and assure their regular update and communication, f.e. brand guidelines
  • support local teams with their press- and social media activities.


Digital

  • promote and monitor performance of Arval online tools and digital channels and initiate improvements (B2B segment)
  • initiate on website content and / or functionalities for B2B segment
  • initiate and support digitalization of internal and external processes.

  • excellent business oriented communication skills (speaking and writing)

PROFILE

  • minimum bachelor degree
  • minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing- or product management, preferably in the service industry
  • first level of managerial skills (2-3 years)
  • excellent language skills (English) and preferably one or more Nordic languages
  • prepared to travel frequently.
