The fuel card is connected to the fuel company, which means that the driver receives all fuel costs that are invoiced directly the driver. Thereafter, the driver must demand his the business trips from the employer. - No driving record needs to be kept at Arval.

Fuel benefit where the driver is taxed on benefits for his private driving. The driver must report the driving record on Arval's portal every month, no later than the 5th of each month. After the fuel file is uploaded to Arval's portal, which the employer needs to download to pick out values which are then handled by the payroll department. If a driver does not report, the fuel will be taxed in full.
